BBQ Photos

A few photos from the Lodges BBQ dinner on May 1, 2021. The menu this time was a half rack of ribs, a chicken quarter, mac & cheese, green beans, rolls, and choice of dessert. Our pitmasters were Derek Cheek and Frank Jackson. Thanks to all the brothers that help make this meal a success. Also, a big thank you for our OES chapter for providing the sweets!!

The only regret – I wish we had thought to take a picture of the MOUNTAINS of mac & cheese that we had.

We will be hosting an Open House on May 29th – details will be posted. Also, make sure you keep an eye out for our next BBQ event!

2023 Christmas for the Kids Challenge Coin

Oakland Masonic Lodge #140 and the City of Lawrence Fire Department have partnered for a third year to offer this challenge coin in support of the 2023 Christmas for the Kids campaign. It is never too early to start fundraising for a worthy cause! All profits from this project will go directly to the City of Lawrence Fire Department Christmas event. These coins are 1.75 inches in diameter and are polished gold tone. The obverse has both the Masonic square and compass and the City of Lawrence Fire Department maltese cross. The reverse is Santa Flying through the Snow , with the fundraiser name "Christmas for the Kids" around the top, and the year "2023" centered at the bottom. These challenge coins would make an excellent stocking stuffer or gift - all the while supporting those less fortunate. We are selling these coins for $20 each - this includes delivery in the continental US.

3/25/2023 – Trap shoot fundraiser. Kingan Gun Club – 5112 W. 500 N, McCordsville, IN (across from the Walmart Distribution Center). Starting time is 10 am. Cost – $15 / person or team of 4 for $50.
